Weekly Workouts: 8/6-8/12

Last week’s workouts were kind of all over the place, so hopefully this week will go as planned. Still trying to figure out the best way to get in both cross and strength training. Should I pair them together? What do you think?

XT and/or P90X Chest / Shoulders / Tri

5 mile tempo, 3 @ 10:03

Friday, August 10

Rest

12 mile run

Sunday, August 12

  1. Looks like you have a great week ahead! I just try to weave in the strength training when I can (lately it’s been about twice a week), keeping the running a priority…it’s hard to squeeze it in but you just have to force yourself to do it!

  3. I wish we lived closer. It sounds like we are on about the same training plan and paces. I have 12 miles scheduled on Saturday too… I’ll pretend we are running together.

  4. i like to couple some of the p90x videos with some cross training as well, do a warm up and then the video…. although the videos def kick my ass haha. and oof, 800s. this looks like a great week!
